Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVELS IN TYPE II DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENT WHO HAVE DIABETIC FOOT ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease in the form of a metabolic disorder characterized by blood glucose levels exceeding normal limits which can cause an increase in blood glucose levels due to decreased insulin secretion by the pancreas gland. Type II diabetes is a common condition and causes blood glucose levels to rise too high. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of blood glucose levels in patients with type II diabetes mellitus who experience diabetic foot based on (age and gender). The type of research used to research is quantitative research methods with descriptive research. This research was conducted in March-April 2023 at Sanjiwani Gianyar Hospital with a total sample of 52 samples. The results of this study were fasting blood glucose levels in type II diabetes mellitus patients in 45 people (86.5%), 2-hour post prandial blood glucose levels in type II diabetes mellitus patientsin 35 people (67.3%) and blood glucose levels during diabetes mellitus patients. type II as much in 29 people (55.8%). Thus, it is suggested to the implementing nurse to always monitor and approach patients who have not been able to control blood glucose levels so that patients understand more about the importance of managing their diet so that blood glucose levels remain balanced. Keywords: blood glucose, type II diabetes mellitus, diabetic foot GAMBARAN KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE II YANG MENGALAMI DIABEIC FOOT ABSTRAK Diabetes melitus merupakan penyakit kronis berupa gangguan metabolik yang ditandai dengan kadar glukosa darah melebihi batas normal dapat menyebabkan kenaikan kadar glukosa darah karena penurunan sekresi insulin yang rendah oleh kelenjar pankreas. Diabetes tipe II merupakan kondisi yang umum dan menyebabkan kadar glukosa dalam darah meningkat terlalu tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui Gambaran Kadar Glukosa Darah Pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe II Yang Mengalami Diabetic Foot berdasarkan (umur, dan jenis kelamin). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan untuk meneliti yaitu metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Maret-April 2023 di RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 52 sampel. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu kadar glukosa darah puasa pasien Diabetes Melitus tipe II sebanyak 45 orang (86,5%), kadar glukosa darah 2 jam post prandial pada pasien Diabetes Melitus tipe II sebanyak 35 orang (67,3%) dan kadar glukosa darah sewaktu pasien Diabetes Melitus tipe II sebanyak 29 orang (55,8%). Dengan demikian, disarankan kepada perawat pelaksana agar selalu memantau dan melakukan pendekatan terhadap pasien yang belum mampu mengontrol kadar glukosa darah sehingga pasien lebih memahami pentingnya mengatur pola makan agar kadar glukosa darah tetap terkontrol.
