Abstract
Nutritional status is a condition of the balanced nutrients enter the body and needed. Stunting is incidence of undernutrition during a period of growth and development that is chronic since 1000 HPK is described from the value Z-score PB/U or TB/U < -2 SD. Factors for malnutrition in children under five are history of breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine relationship between history of breastfeeding and nutritional status in toddlers aged 24-36 months in Pejaten Village, Tabanan Regency. Types observational, design cross sectional, and 43 samples. Data was collected by interview and measurement methods. Data presented in frequency tables, cross tables were analyzed with Spearman Rank Correlation Test. There is a relationship between Early Breastfeeding Initiation and nutritional status (p = 0.038). There is a relationship between colostrum and nutritional status (p = 0.012). There is no relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and nutritional status (p = 0.297). There is a relationship between weaning age and nutritional status (p = 0.013). There is a relationship between history of breastfeeding with nutritional status (p = 0.043). Based on the relationship between history of breastfeeding and nutritional status of toddlers, breastfeeding has an important role in determining nutritional status of toddlers.
