Abstract
Asthma is a condition in which an individual feels difficult to breathe due to narrowing of the breathing stream. A common nursing problem for asthma patients is the inefficiency of breathing patterns, one of the non-pharmacological techniques that can be given in tackling the problem of ineffective breathing pathways with breathing relaxation methods through ballon blowing techniques. The aim of this study is to find out that the non-pharmacological technique for patient asthma with ineffective in Mangusada Badung RSUD. This research using descriptive design method, with a case study. The sample study included asthma patients with ineffective breathing patterns. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study, sowed patients suffered from shortness for 3 days RR: 30x / minute using respiratory muscles so that it can be established the diagnosis of ineffective breathing patterns. Nursing planning using the main interventions of airway management, implementation of plans according to nursing plan, collaboration with ballon blowing therapy. Evaluation of implementation nursing plan and collaboration balloon blowing therapy, achieved objective criteria outcome managed. Based on the analysis of management cases and related journals, it was concluded that giving ballon blowing therapy with a regular time for patient with ineffective breathing patterns to reduce relapse.
