Abstract
GAMBARAN STABILITAS SUHU TUBUH DAN FREKUENSI NADI BAYI YANG DILAKUKAN NESTING PADA BAYI BERAT LAHIR RENDAH DI RUANG NICU RSD MANGUSADA TAHUN 2026 Abstrak Bayi berat lahir rendah dengan prematur sangat rentan terjadi hipotermi. Kata Kunci : Frekuensi Nadi, Subu Tubuh, Nesting A STUDY ON BODY TEMPERATURE AND HEART RATE STABILITY IN BABIES UNDERGOING NESTING AMONG LOW BIRTH WEIGHT INFANTS IN THE NICU OF MANGUSADA GENERAL HOSPITAL IN 2026 Abstract Premature, low-birth-weight babies are particularly susceptible to hypothermia. Hypothermia increases oxygen consumption, which, if not met, can lead to hypoxia and tachycardia or bradycardia in response to decreased oxygenation. Nesting is a treatment option for this. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of body temperature stability and heart rate in low birth weight infants undergoing skin-to-skin contact in the NICU at Mangusada Regional General Hospital in 2026. This study is a Longitudinal Descriptive Design study using total sampling. The sample size was 20 infants. Data collection took place from March 1 to April 30, 2026. Descriptive analysis was used. The results of the study showed that the body temperature of LBW infants after nesting was mostly normal in 95 infants, representing 95%, and the pulse rate of LBW infants after nesting was all in the normal category in 20 infants (100%). Therefore, it is recommended that healthcare workers provide innovative education on nesting so that the practice can be carried out independently. Keywords: Pulse Rate, Body Temperature, Nesting
