Abstract

Study On The Implementation Of Hand Washing With Soap At Guliang Kawan State Kindergarten, Bangli 2026 ABSTRACT Handwashing with Soap is part of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) which is important to implement from an early age to prevent disease transmission. This study was conducted because there were still students who had not implemented the CTPS steps correctly and the lack of supporting educational media in schools. This study uses Lawrence Green's theory which states that health behavior is influenced by predisposing, enabling, and reinforcing factors. The purpose of Handwashing with Soap this study was to determine the level of student knowledge, the availability of handwashing with Soap facilities, the role of teachers, and the implementation of handwashing with Soap in class B students at TK Negeri Guliang Kawan Bangli in 2026. The type of research used was descriptive research with a sample of 52 students in group B. Data collection was carried out through observation, guided interviews, and a checklist of handwashing with Soap facilities. The results showed that students' knowledge about handwashing with Soap was categorized as good at 71.2%, handwashing with Soap facilities were categorized as adequate at 100%, and the role of teachers in guiding students was categorized as good at 85.7%. The implementation of handwashing with Soap in students showed a good category at 46%, sufficient at 52%, and inadequate at 2%. Some handwashing with Soap steps were still not carried out optimally according to WHO standards. This study concludes that the implementation of handwashing at Guliang Kawan Bangli Public Kindergarten is quite good, but routine practice and increased education regarding proper handwashing procedures are still needed. Studi Penerapan Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun Di Tk Negeri Guliang Kawan Bangli Tahun 2026 ABSTRAK Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS) merupakan bagian dari Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) yang penting diterapkan sejak usia dini untuk mencegah penularan penyakit. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena masih ditemukan siswa yang belum menerapkan langkah CTPS dengan benar serta kurangnya media edukasi pendukung di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Lawrence Green yang menyatakan bahwa perilaku kesehatan dipengaruhi oleh faktor predisposisi, enabling, dan reinforcing. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan siswa, ketersediaan sarana CTPS, peran guru, serta penerapan CTPS pada siswa kelas B di TK Negeri Guliang Kawan Bangli Tahun 2026. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan sampel sebanyak 52 siswa kelompok B. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara terpimpin, dan checklist sarana CTPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan siswa tentang CTPS termasuk kategori baik sebanyak 71,2%, sarana CTPS tergolong memadai sebesar 100%, dan peran guru dalam membimbing siswa tergolong baik sebesar 85,7%. Penerapan CTPS pada siswa menunjukkan kategori baik sebesar 46%, cukup 52%, dan kurang 2%. Beberapa langkah CTPS masih belum dilakukan secara maksimal sesuai standar WHO. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan CTPS di TK Negeri Guliang Kawan Bangli sudah cukup baik, namun masih diperlukan pembiasaan rutin dan peningkatan edukasi terkait langkah CTPS yang benar.
