Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF EFFECTIVE COUGH EXERCISES IN CHILDREN WITH PNEUMONIA WITH INEFFECTIVE AIRWAY CLEARANCE AT TABANAN HOSPOTAL IN 2024 ABSTRACT Pneumonia is inflammation of the lung parenchyma caused by microorganisms including bacteria, mycobacteria, fungi and viruses, a chronic inflammatory disease (inflammation) of the airways characterized by wheezing, coughing and flu and a feeling of tightness in the chest. This study aims to find out how effective cough training is implemented in children with pneumonia with ineffective airway clearance at the Tabanan District Hospital. This research uses descriptive research in the form of an in-depth case study. The instruments used were assessment formats, SOPs for effective coughing exercises and observation sheets. The results found in the nursing assessment of patients complained of shortness of breath and coughing. The nursing diagnosis formulated was ineffective airway clearance related to retained secretions characterized by ineffective coughing, inability to cough, wheezing, dyspnea,restlessness, altered respiratory frequency, altered breathing patterns. The main intervention is effective cough training. Nursing implementation is carried out in accordance with the planned intervention for 3x15 minutes. The conclusion of this research is that after being given nursing care, the results showed that the patient was calmer, effective coughing increased, anxiety decreased, wheezing/wheezing decreased, respiratory frequency improved, breathing patterns improved. It is hoped that this research can become a non�pharmacological therapy option, namely providing effective cough training therapy. Keywords: Pneumonia, Ineffective Airway Clearance, Effective Cough Exercises IMPLEMENTASI LATIHAN BATUK EFEKTIF PADA ANAK PNEUMONIA DENGAN BERSIHAN JALAN NAPAS TIDAK EFEKTIF DI RSUD TABANAN TAHUN 2024 ABSTRAK Pneumonia adalah adanya inflamasi parenkin paru yang disebabkan oleh mikroorganisme termasuk bakteri, mikrobakteri, jamur dan virus, penyakit inflamasi (peradangan) kronik saluran napas yang ditandai adanya wheezing, batuk serta flu dan rasa sesak di dada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi latihan batuk efektif pada anak pneumonia dengan bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif di RSUD Tabanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan bentuk studi kasus mendalam. Ketentuan studi subjek studi kasus yaitu dengan kriteria inklusi meliputi ; orangtua/wali bersedia menjadi responden, pasien anak dengan pneumonia,keluarga memiliki anak dengan pneumonia yang berumur 5-20 tahun, pasien kooperatif. Instrument yang digunakan format pengkajian, SOP latihan batuk efektif dan lembar observasi. Hasil yang ditemukan pada pengkajian keperawatan pasien mengeluh sesak napas dan batuk. Diagnosa keperawatan yang dirumuskan yaitu bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif berhubungan dengan sekresi yang tertahan ditandai dengan batuk tidak efektif, tidak mampu batuk, mengi/wheezing, dispnea, gelisah, frekuensi napas berubah, pola napas berubah. Intervensi utama yaitu latihan batuk efektif. Implementasi keperawatan dilakukan sesuai dengan intervensi yang sudah direncanakan selama 3x15 menit. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini setelah diberikan asuhan keperawatan didapatkan hasil pasien mengatakan lebih tenang, batuk efektif meningkat, gelisah menurun, mengi/wheezing menurun, frekuensi napas membaik, pola napas membaik. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu pilihan terapi nonfarmakologi yaitu pemberian terapi latihan batuk efektif.
