Abstract

IMPLEMENTASI LATIHAN BATUK EFEKTIF PADA PASIEN PENYAKIT PARU OBSTRUKTIF KRONIK DENGAN BERSIHAN JALAN NAPAS TIDAK EFEKTIF DI RSUD KABUPATEN KLUNGKUNG ABSTRAK Penyakit paru obstruksi kronik (PPOK) adalah pelnyakit parul kronis yang ditandai delngan adanya hambatan aliran uldara yang pelrsisteln dan belrsifat progrelsif selrta telrjadinya pelningkatan relspon inflamasi kronis salulran napas yan g diselbabkan olelh iritan telrtelntu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi latihan batuk efektif pada pasien PPOK dengan bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif di RSUD Kabupaten Klungkung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, pasien PPOK dengan bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif mengalami batuk tidak efektif, peningkatan produksi sputum, sesak napas, frekuensi napas berubah, dan pola napas berubah. Intervensi yang dapat diberikan adalah latihan batuk efektif dengan kategori observasi, terapeutik, edukasi, dan kolaborasi dengan kriteria hasil batuk efektif, produksi sputum menurun, bunyi napas tambahan wheezing/ronchi menurun, dyspnea menurun, frekuensi napas dan pola napas membaik. Implementasi dilaksanakan sesuai dengan intervensi yang sudah direncanakan dengan memberikan latihan batuk efektif selama 3 x 30 menit. Setelah diberikan implementasi latihan batuk efektif pada pasien PPOK dengan bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif terbukti mampu meningkatkan kemampuan batuk efektif dan pengeluaran sputum. Kata kunci : PPOK, Bersihan Jalan Napas Tidak Efektif, Latihan Batuk Efektif IMPLEMENTASI LATIHAN BATUK EFEKTIF PADA PASIEN PENYAKIT PARU OBSTRUKTIF KRONIK DENGAN BERSIHAN JALAN NAPAS TIDAK EFEKTIF DI RSUD KABUPATEN KLUNGKUNG ABSTRACT Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a chronic pulmonary disease characterized by persistent and progressive airflow obstruction as well as an increase in the chronic inflammatory response of the respiratory tract caused by certain irritants. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of effective cough exercises in COPD patients with ineffective airway clearance at the Klungkung District Hospital. The method used in this study is a case study. The results of this study showed that COPD patients with ineffective airway clearance experienced ineffective coughing, increased sputum production, shortness of breath, altered respiratory frequency, and altered breathing patterns. The interventions that can be given are effective coughing exercises in the categories of observation, therapy, education and collaboration with the criteria for effective coughing, decreased sputum production, decreased wheezing/rhonchi additional breath sounds, decreased dyspnea, improved respiratory frequency and breathing patterns. Implementation was carried out in accordance with the planned intervention by providing effective coughing exercises for 3 x 30 minute. After implementing effective coughing exercises in COPD patients with ineffective airway clearance, it was proven to increase the ability to cough effectively and expel sputum.
