Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SEMI FOWLER POSITION IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE WITH INEFFECTIVE AIRWAY CLEARANCE AT MANGUSADA RSD ABSTRACT Introduction: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a lung disease caused by limited air flow in the lungs. COPD is not just "smoker's cough", but an underdiagnosed and life-threatening lung disease that can cause progressive death ( WHO 2017). This research aims to determine the implementation of giving the semi-Fowler position to patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with ineffective airway clearance at Mangusada Badung Hospital. Method: Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, viewing documentation, and nursing actions as well as implementation and evaluation. The number of samples taken in this study was 1 adult at RSD Mangusada Badung. Results data: The results of the Riskesdas Report in 2018 stated that COPD in Indonesia was 3.7% of other diseases, in Badung Regency the prevalence of ISPA reached 5.5% or 3,139 people out of a total of 20,500 people in all districts in Bali (Riskesdas 2018 ). Results and discussion: after implementing the appropriate intervention for 3x24 hours, the results showed that the ineffectiveness of the breathing pattern was resolved after administering the intervention in the semi-fowler position, namely that the patient felt comfortable, shortness of breath was reduced, following the instructions recommended by the researcher, the patient was able to carry out the semi-fowler position intervention independently . Conclusion: after administering the semi-Fowler position intervention for ineffective airway clearance with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) was resolved and the intervention was maintained. Keywords: Semi-Fowler's administration, COPD IMPLEMENTASI PEMBERIAN POSISI SEMI FOWLER PADA PASIEN PENYAKIT PARU OBSTRUKTIF KRONIS DENGAN BERSIHAN JALAN NAPAS TIDAK EFEKTIF DI RSD MANGUSADA ABSTRAK Pendahuluan : Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronis (PPOK) merupakan penyakit paru-paru yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan aliran udara di paru-paru.PPOK bukan hanya sekedar “batuk perokok”, tapi penyakit paru yang kurang terdiagnosis dan mengancam jiwa yang dapat menyebabkan kematian secara progresif (WHO 2017). Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Implementasi Pemberian Posisi Semi Fowler pada Pasien Penyakit Paru Obstruksi Kronis (PPOK) Dengan Bersihan Jalan Napas Tidak Efektif Di RSD Mangusada Badung Metode : Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, melihat dokumentasi , dan tindakan keperawatan serta impelementasi sampai evaluasi. Jumlah sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah 1 orang dewasa di RSD Mangusada Badung. Data hasil : Hasil Laporan Riskesdas pada tahun 2018, menyebutkan bahwa PPOK di Indonesia sebesar 3,7% dari penyakit lainnya, di Kabupaten Badung prevalensi ISPA mencapai 5,5% atau sebesar 3.139 orang dari 20.500 orang total seluruh kabupaten di provinsi Bali (Riskesdas 2018). Hasil dan pembahasan : setelah dilakukan implementasi sesuai intervensi selama 3x24 jam didapatkan hasil bersihan jalan napas teratasi setelah pemberian intervensi pemberian posisi semi fowler yaitu didapatkan pasien merasa nyaman, sesak napas berkurang, mengikuti instruksi yang dianjurkan peneliti, pasien mampu melakukan intervensi posisi semi fowler dengan mandiri. Kesimpulan : setelah pemberian intervensi posisi semi fowler untuk bersihan jalan napas tidak efekitf dengan Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronis (PPOK) teratasi dan dipertahankan terus intervensi nya.
