Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF TOTAL CHOLESTEROL LEVELS IN HYPERTENSIVE PATIENS IN MANGUSADA HOSPITAL BADUNG REGENCY IN 2024 ABSTRAC Hypertension or high blood pressure, also known as arterial hypertension, is a medical condition in which blood pressure in the arteries increases. Total cholesterol levels are experienced by many people with hypertension and total cholesterol levels can also make hypertension worse. This study aims to determine total cholesterol levels in hypertensive patients at Mangusada Hospital, Badung Regency. This research uses a descriptive method with an observational research design that only makes observations on patient medical records. This research was conducted from October 2023-March 2024 with a sample of 62 respondents. The results of this study showed that patients with the highest total cholesterol levels occurred in respondents with an older age of 58.1%, with gender, namely women, 61.5% of respondents, the highest cholesterol levels found were high cholesterol levels with a total of 67.7%. In the frequency distribution of systolic blood pressure, the highest results were obtained, namely grade II hypertension, 44.4%, then in the frequency distribution of diastolic blood pressure, the highest results were obtained, namely grade II hypertension, 41.3%. An increase in total cholesterol levels occurs with increasing age and is predominantly experienced by women. Key words: Hypertension; Total cholesterol GAMBARAN KADAR KOLESTEROL TOTAL PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI RSD MANGUSADA KABUPATEN BADUNG TAHUN 2024 ABSTRAK Hipertensi atau tekanan darah tinggi yang disebut juga dengan hipertensi arteri adalah kondisi medis dengan tekanan darah di arteri meningkat. Kadar kolesterol total banyak dialami oleh penderita hipertensi dan kadar kolesterol total juga dapat memperparah hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar kolesterol total pada pasien hipertensi di RSD Mangusada Kabupaten Badung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan desain penelitian observasional yang hanya melakukan pengamatan pada rekam medik pasien. Penelitian ini dilakukaan dari bulan oktober 2023-maret 2024 dengan sampel sebanyak 62 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pasien kadar kolesterol totol terbesar terjadi pada responden dengan usia lanjut sebanyak 58.1%, dengan jenis kelamin yaitu perempuan sebanyak 61.5% responden, terdapat kadar kolesterol paling banyak ditemukan yaitu kadar kolesterol tinggi dengan jumlah sebanyak 67.7%. Pada distribusi frekuensi tekanan darah sistolik didapatkan hasil terbanyak yaitu hipertensi derajat II sebanyak 44.4%, selanjutnya pada distribusi frekuensi tekanan darah diastolik didapatkan hasil terbanyak yaitu hipertensi derajat II sebanyak 41.3%. Peningkatan kadar kolesterol total terjadi seiring dengan bertambahnya usia dan dominan dialami oleh perempuan. Kata kunci: Hipertensi; Kolesterol Total
