Abstract
Dancesport is a combination of dance and physical movements with mastery of artistic steps, and harmony with music, as well as choreography that is demanded with agility and stamina. Agility is influenced by several factors, one of which is fatigue. Fatigue is caused by lack of consuming water and other nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins and minerals namely sodium and potassium. The purpose of this study was to determine the consumption patterns and agility of Dancesport athletes in the Kuta Tourism Area Badung Regency. This type of research is observational with a cross sectional study design, and samples taken as many as 32 samples. Consumption pattern data is collected by form recall, agility with shuttle run tests. Data is displayed using frequency distribution tables and cross tables and then described descriptively. The results of the study are the agility of athletes in the good category (59.37%), less (28.13%) and sufficient (12.50%). The linkages of agility based on the type of consumption mostly have various types of consumption (89.47%). The relationship between agility based on consumption level shows that the level of carbohydrate consumption entirely has less and sufficient agility with the level of consumption of carbohydrate less (100%), at the level of water consumption most have good agility with the level of water consumption less (88.89%), at the level of consumption most of the protein have good agility with a level of consumption of less protein (88.89%), at the level of sodium consumption all have sufficient agility with a level of consumption of sodium less (100%), and at the level of potassium consumption all have less and sufficient agility with a level of consumption less potassium (100%). Conclusions there is a trend towards the distribution of agility based on the level of water consumption and the level of protein consumption. Therefore it is advisable to routinely consume water or other liquids and consume nutritious and varied foods as needed.
