Abstract
ISK merupakan penyakit infeksi tersering kedua setelah infeksi saluran napas dengan jumlah kasus sebanyak 8.3 juta setiap tahun dengan jumlah kasus di Indonesia sebanyak 90 – 100 kasus per 100.000 penduduk per tahunnya atau sekitar 180.000 kasus baru pertahun. Escherichia coli merupakan bakteri flora normal intestinal yang paling sering menyebabkan ISK. Resistensi Escerichia coli terhadap berbagai antibiotik telah banyak dilaporkan, sehingga menimbulkan kesulitan terapi pada penderita ISK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengetahui sensitivitas Escherichia coli pada urin penderita ISK terhadap antibiotik siprofloksasin. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengambilan data sekunder secara retrospektif berdasarkan data rekam medis dan hasil pemeriksaan mikrobiologi pada urin penderita ISK Tahun 2019 di RSD Mangusada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bakteri yang paling banyak teridentifikasi pada sampel urin penderita ISK adalah Escherichia coli dengan hasil uji sensitivitas yang resisten terhadap antibiotik siprofloksasin.
