Abstract

Abstract: Health cadre is a manifestation of the active participation of the community in integrated services. Cadres are expected to be able to move the community to carry out activities in the context of improving health status because cadres are very close to the community and play an important role in finding a problem that occurs in the community. This study aims to identify the Perceptions, Motivation, and Knowledge of Cadres in the Implementation of VIA Examination. This research is a literature review. Journal identification results found that cadre perception regarding VIA examination was influenced by various aspects. The motivation of cadres in carrying out VIA examinations has to do with the performance of cadres. The knowledge possessed by cadres regarding the majority of VIA examinations is quite good, but the awareness to conduct early detection of cervical cancer is still very lacking. This will reduce the awareness of the public to conduct VIA examinations. Cadres should be more active in providing comprehensive information in the form of socializing VIA implementation programs to reduce morbidity and mortality due to cervical cancer.
