Abstract
Menstruation is a normal part of the natural cycle process that occurs in healthy women. Some women experience problems when experiencing menstruation such as feeling pain that makes a woman must feel discomfort almost every month. This study aims to identify the benefits of KUASPADU herb (turmeric, tamarind, gotu kola and honey) on reducing the intensity of menstrual pain in young women. This type of research is pre experimental with one group pretest posttest design. The number of samples in this study were 14 students of class VII Middle School 8 Junior High School Denpasar. The type of data in this study is primary data. The results of normality data test using Shapiro Wilk obtained p < 0.05. Bivariate analysis continued using Paired t-Test where the results of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.001 (p < 0.05) meant that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. So this shows the benefits of KUASPADU herb to decrease the intensity of menstruation pain in female teenagers.
