Abstract
Correlation between Mother Characteristics and Preeclampsia 2020 ABSTRACT Preeclampsia is ranked second as a cause of death in maternal. So much factors cause preeclampsia in pregnant and childbirth women. One of them is the characteristics of mother. Mother characteristics can be divided into age, parity, level of education and job status. Using three databases (Portal Garuda, Google Schoolar and Researchgate) that were searched from 2010 to 2020 in the form of research reports and reviews that discussed factors related to the incidence of preeclampsia, characteristics of pregnant women and maternity with the incidence of preeclampsia. 45 journals obtained from search results using these keywords. Then after selecting the contents of the journal, obtained 14 journals in accordance with the discussion. Based on the analysis that has been done, it have been identified that maternal characteristics are associated with the incidence of preeclampsia. The age of mothers who experience the incidence of preeclampsia is the age at risk (<20 and> 35 years). Parity of mothers who experience the occurrence of preeclampsia is risk parity (1 and> 3 times). The education level of mothers who experience the incidence of preeclampsia, namely the education level of elementary and junior high schools. Job status of mothers who experience the incidence of preeclampsia is working mothers. There is a correlation between age, parity, education level and job status with the incidence of preeclampsia.
