Abstract

Abstract skripsi : Perception is how someone perceives or interprets something. If adolescent have a good perception of early marriage then adolescent will do it, also instead. This study was to see the description of adolescent’s perception about early marriage in Vocational High School 1 Manggis. This study used descriptive method with cross sectional approach. The sample used in this study was 30 female students class X and fulfilling inclusion criteria. The sampling technique that has been used is nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling method. Data collection using a questionnarie with 30 quetions. The result showed for the cognitive aspects of 30 respondents, 16 respondents (53,3%) understand about early marriage and 14 respondents (46,7%) lacked understanding about early marriage. For the affective aspects of 30 respondents, 7 respondents (23,3%) support the existence of early marriage and 23 respondents (76,7%) did not support the existence of early marriage. For the conative aspects of 30 respondents, 2 respondents (6,7%) responded well to the incidence of early marriage and 28 respondents (23,3%) responded unfavorably to the incidence of early marriage. The conclusion is most of female students class X in Vocational High School 1 Manggis understand about early marriage and most of female students not support of early marriage also not ready to get married at an early age.
