Abstract
The role of humans as food handlers is very important because processed foods allow the occurrence of a source of disease transmission due to a food handler who is not careful or has insufficient knowledge about food and beverage sanitation hygiene. So that the behavior of food handlers is one of the things that play a role in determining a healthy food or not. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards sanitation hygiene behavior of food handlers at food stalls in the working area of Benoa Seaport. This study uses a cross sectional research design. The sample in this study was food handlers at 54 food stalls in the Benoa Port area, with a sample size of 84 respondents randomly selected by lotery. This study uses chi square test data analysis with a confidence level of 95 %. The results of the study can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge with sanitation hygiene behavior with a value of p (value) that is 0.000 (sig <0.05) with the CC 0.000 which means that the relationship between variables is very low, and there is a relationship between attitudes and sanitation hygiene behavior with a value of p (value) of 0.024 (sig <0, 05) with the CC 0.024 which means that the relationship between variables is very low.
