Abstract

ABSTRACT Immunization is an effort to provide vaccines to create active immunity against certain diseases. The coverage of complete basic immunization in Oematnunu Village, West Kupang District is still 60.3%, below the national target of 95%. Mothers' knowledge and attitudes are suspected to be factors related to the immunization status of toddlers. Objective: To find out the relationship between mothers' knowledge and attitudes and the complete basic immunization status of toddlers aged 0-11 months in Oematnunu Village. Method: Quantitative analytical research with a cross-sectional design. The population was all mothers who had toddlers aged 0-11 months, totaling 100 people. A sample of 78 people was taken using simple random sampling with Slovin's formula at a 5% margin of error. Data analysis was done using the Chi-Square test with α=0.05. Results: 41% of mothers had good knowledge, 52.6% had a positive attitude, and 60.3% of toddlers had complete basic immunization status. The statistical test results showed a significant relationship between There is a significant relationship between mothers' knowledge and immunization status (p=0.000) and between mothers' attitudes and immunization status (p=0.000). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between mothers' knowledge and attitudes with the complete basic immunization status of toddlers aged 0-11 months in Oematnunu Village. Suggestion: Batakte Health Center is expected to intensify health education and counseling activities for mothers of toddlers in Oematnunu Village regarding the importance of complete basic immunization. Keywords: Basic Immunization Status, Knowledge, Attitude ABSTRAK Imunisasi adalah upaya pemberian vaksin untuk menimbulkan kekebalan aktif terhadap penyakit tertentu. Cakupan imunisasi dasar lengkap di Desa Oematnunu Kecamatan Kupang Barat masih 60,3%, di bawah target nasional 95%. Pengetahuan dan sikap ibu diduga menjadi faktor yang berhubungan dengan status imunisasi balita. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu dengan status imunisasi dasar lengkap pada balita usia 0-11 bulan di Desa Oematnunu. Metode: Penelitian analitik kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Populasi adalah seluruh ibu yang mempunyai balita usia 0-11 bulan sebanyak 100 orang. Sampel sebanyak 78 orang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 5%. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan α=0,05. Hasil: Sebanyak 41% ibu berpengetahuan baik, 52,6% bersikap positif, dan 60,3% balita dengan status imunisasi dasar lengkap. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan ibu dengan status imunisasi (p=0,000) dan antara sikap ibu dengan status imunisasi (p=0,000). Simpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dan sikap ibu dengan status imunisasi dasar lengkap pada balita usia 0-11 bulan di Desa Oematnunu. Saran: Puskesmas Batakte diharapkan meningkatkan kegiatan penyuluhan dan konseling kesehatan secara intensif kepada ibu balita di Desa Oematnunu terkait pentingnya imunisasi dasar lengkap.
