Abstract

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ANOPHELES LARVAE HABITATS AND THE ANOPHELES LARVAE HABITAT INDEX IN THE SERVICE AREA OF THE WAIRASA COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER IN 2026 ABSTRACT Malaria is one of Indonesia's public health problems that can cause death. Wairasa Health Center is one of the health centers in Central Sumba Regency whose work area has various types of natural and artificial breeding habitats, so it still faces local malaria transmission challenges. This study aims to identify larval habitat types, determine the Anopheles larval habitat index, and analyze the relationship between Anopheles larval habitat types and the Anopheles larval habitat index in the work area of Wairasa Health Center. The research method used in this study is quantitative descriptive with an observational analytical design using a cross- sectional approach. Primary data were collected through an entomological survey of Anopheles larval habitats using a survey form. The data were statistically analyzed using the non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis comparative test at a 95% confidence level (α 0.05). The results of the study show the habita The habitats found in the work area of Wairasa Health Center include rice fields, puddles, former livestock footprints, small canals, ponds, springs, check dams, swamps, former vehicle tracks, and lakes, with the most common habitats being rice fields (41 points) and puddles (26 points). The Anopheles larval habitat index is 61%. The Kruskal-Wallis test results showed an Asymp. Sig value of 0.000 (p < 0.005). It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between the type of Anopheles larval habitat and the Anopheles larval habitat index. It is recommended to prioritize integrated larvicide treatment in clusters of productive larval habitats. Keywords : Anopheles Habitat, Habitat Index, Anopheles. HUBUNGAN JENIS HABITAT JENTIK ANOPHELES DENGAN INDEKS HABITAT JENTIK ANOPHELES DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS WAIRASA TAHUN 2026 ABSTRAK Malaria merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan masyarakat indonesia yang dapat menyebabkan kematian. Puskesmas Wairasa merupakan salah satu Puskesmas di Kabupaten Sumba Tengah yang wilayah kerjanya memiiki berbagai jenis habitat perindukan alami maupun buatan, sehingga masih menghadapi tantangan penularan malaria lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis habitat jentik, menentukan indeks habitat jentik Anopheles, dan menganalis hubungan jenis habitat jentik Anopheles dengan indeks habitat jentik Anopheles di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Wairasa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dekripstif kuantitatif dengan desain analitik observasional menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan melalui survei entomologi habitat jentik Anopheles menggunakan formulir survei . Data dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji komparatif non-parametrik Kruskal-Wallis pada derajat kepercayaan 95% (α 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan habitat yang terdapat di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Wairasa yaitu sawah, genangan, bekas tapak ternak, kobakan, kolam, mata air, cekdam, rawa-rawa, bekas tapak roda kendaraan dan danau dengan habitat terbanyak adalah sawah (41 titik) dan genangan (26 titik). Indeks habitat jentik Anopheles sebesar 61%. Hasil uji Kruskal-Wallis menunjukkan niai Asymp. Sig sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,005). Disimpulkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara jenis habitat jentik Anopheles dengan indeks habitat jentik Anopheles. disarankan untuk memprioritaskan larvasida terpadu pada klaster-klaster habitat jentik yang produktif.
