Abstract

The Relationship Between Healthy Lifestyle Behavior and the Incidence of Pulmonary Tuberculosis in the Working Area of UPTD Puskesmas I South Denpasar in 2026 ABSTRACT Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) remains a major public health problem in Indonesia. This study aimed to determine the relationship between healthy lifestyle behaviors and the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in the working area of UPTD Puskesmas I South Denpasar in 2026. This study employed a case-control design involving 62 respondents, consisting of 31 cases and 31 controls. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and observations, and were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed a significant relationship between healthy lifestyle behaviors and the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis (p < 0.001). Respondents with poor healthy lifestyle behaviors were more frequently found in the case group, whereas those with good healthy lifestyle behaviors were predominantly found in the control group. It can be concluded that healthy lifestyle behaviors play an important role in preventing the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. Therefore, increasing public awareness of healthy lifestyle behaviors is essential to reduce the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. Keywords: Pulmonary Tuberculosis, Healthy Lifestyle Behavior. HUBUNGAN PERILAKU HIDUP SEHAT DENGAN KEJADIAN PENYAKIT TUBERKULOSIS PARU DI WILAYAH KERJA UPTD PUSKESMAS I DENPASAR SELATAN TAHUN 2026 ABSTRAK Tuberkulosis paru (TB) masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku hidup sehat dengan kejadian tuberkulosis paru di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan tahun 2026. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain case-control dengan jumlah responden 62 orang, terdiri dari 31 kelompok kasus dan 31 kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, kuesioner, dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara perilaku hidup sehat dengan kejadian tuberkulosis paru (p < 0,001). Responden dengan perilaku hidup sehat kurang, lebih banyak ditemukan pada kelompok kasus, sedangkan perilaku hidup sehat baik, lebih banyak ditemukan pada kelompok kontrol. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku hidup sehat berperan penting dalam mencegah kejadian tuberkulosis paru. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai perilaku hidup sehat diperlukan untuk menurunkan angka kejadian TBC paru. Kata Kunci: Tuberkulosis Paru, Perilaku Hidup Sehat.
