Abstract

NURSING CARE FOR MRS. M WITH ANXIETY DUE TO TYPE II DIABETES MELLITUS IN THE INFECTIOUS WARNING OF KLUNGKUNG REGIONAL HOSPITAL IN 2026 ABSTRACT Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus is a disease that occurs because the body produces insufficient insulin and is unable to overcome existing insulin resistance. This condition can cause psychological problems, one of which is anxiety. This case report aims to describe nursing care for Mrs. M with anxiety due to type 2 diabetes mellitus at Klungkung Regional Hospital. This case report was carried out on February 12-15, 2026. The results of the assessment of Mrs. M complained of feeling confused about the disease she was experiencing, the patient said she felt anxious and worried about her current condition because her blood sugar results were always high (309 mg/dL), the patient said she had difficulty concentrating (lack of focus when spoken to and spoke in a slow tone), the patient complained of dizziness. The nursing plan that has been given to Mrs. M includes anxiety reduction by using a communication approach, emotional support, and identifying anxiety, deep breathing relaxation therapy in carrying out a series of actions that include observation, therapeutic interventions, and education, as well as music therapy as a supporting intervention to assess the patient's anxiety level and music preferences. After three days of treatment, the patient's anxiety level decreased and the problem was partially resolved. The evaluation showed that the nursing care objectives were achieved in accordance with the established outcomes. It was concluded that appropriate nursing care can help address anxiety in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Follow-up care through education on self-regulatory relaxation techniques and family support is needed to maintain psychological stability and help control blood sugar levels. M DENGAN ANSIETAS AKIBAT DIABETES MELITUS TIPE II DI RUANG JUMPAI RSUD KLUNGKUNG TAHUN 2026 ABSTRAK Diabetes Melitus tipe 2 adalah penyakit yang terjadi karena tubuh menghasilkan insulin yang tidak cukup dan tidak mampu mengatasi resistensi insulin yang sudah ada. Kondisi ini dapat menimbulkan masalah psikologis, salah satunya ansietas. Laporan kasus ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan asuhan keperawatan pada Ny. M dengan ansietas akibat diabetes melitus tipe 2 di RSUD Klungkung. Laporan kasus ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 12-15 Februari 2026. Hasil pengkajian Ny. M mengeluh merasa bingung dengan penyakit yang dialami, pasien mengatakan merasa cemas dan khawatir terhadap kondisi yang dialaminya sekarang karena hasil gula darahnya selalu tinggi (309 mg/dL), pasien mengatakan sulit berkonsentrasi (kurang fokus saat diajak bicara dan bicara dengan nada lambat), pasien mengeluh pusing. Rencana keperawatan yang telah diberikan pada Ny. M meliputi reduksi ansietas dengan melakukan pendekatan komunikasi, dukungan emosional, serta mengidentifikasi kecemasan, terapi relaksasi napas dalam melakukan rangkaian tindakan yang meliputi observasi, intervensi terapeutik, dan edukasi, serta terapi musik sebagai intervensi pendukung melakukan pengkajian tingkat kecemasan dan preferensi musik pasien. Setelah dilakukan perawatan selama tiga hari, tingkat ansietas pasien menurun dan masalah teratasi sebagian. Evaluasi menunjukkan tujuan asuhan keperawatan tercapai sesuai dengan luaran yang ditetapkan. Disimpulkan bahwa, asuhan keperawatan yang tepat dapat membantu mengatasi ansietas pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2. Diperlukan perawatan lanjutan melalui edukasi teknik relaksasi mandiri serta dukungan keluarga untuk mempertahankan kondisi psikologis yang stabil dan membantu pengendalian kadar gula darah.
