Abstract

REVIEW OF MICROBIOLOGY QUALITIES PHYSICAL AND WATER ASAK VILLAGE KARANGASEM ABSTRACT Background Asak Village has a Springs that is often used by the community, namely the Yeh Inem, Kauh, and Tiagan Water Spring. This Water spring is used for drinking water purposes. This Water Spring is a natural spring that is underground and is utilized by channeling the water through pipes. The purpose of this study was to determine the microbiological and physical quality of Water Spring in Asak Village, Karangasem. This research was conducted from February to May 2022 with the total population and sample in this study namely the Springs in Asak Village, Karangasem. The method uses descriptive research type. Microbiological and physical measurements were carried out 3 (three) times. The results obtained from the Yeh Inem, Kauh and Tiagan Springs on microbiological parameters with the results on Escherichia coli did not meet the standard and Total Coliform Bacteria did not meet the standard. For physical parameters with the results already meeting the standard. The conclusions for the microbiological parameters of the springs in Asak Village, Karangasem are that they do not meet the requirements and the physical parameters meet the requirements according to the Minister of Health Regulation No.492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010 concerning Drinking Water Quality Requirements. Keywords : Microbiology Ouality and Water Physical TINJAUAN KUALITAS MIKROBIOLOGI DAN FISIK SUMBER MATA AIR DI DESA ASAK KARANGASEM ABSTRAK Latar belakang Desa Asak memiliki Sumber Mata Air yang sering dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat yaitu Sumber Mata Air Yeh Inem, Kauh, dan Tiagan. Sumber Mata Air ini dimanfaatkan sebagai keperluan air minum. Mata air ini merupakan Mata Air alami yang berada di dalam tanah dan dimanfaatkan dengan cara menyalurkan airnya melalui pipa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas mikrobiologi dan fisik sumber mata air di Desa Asak, Karangasem. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari sampai Mei 2022 dengan jumlah populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini yakni Sumber Mata Air di Desa Asak, Karangasem. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengukuran mikrobiologi dan fisik dilakukan sebanyak 3 (tiga) kali. Hasil yang diperoleh Mata Air Yeh Inem, Kauh dan Tiagan pada parameter mikrobiologi dengan hasil pada Escherichia coli tidak memenuhi standar baku dan Total Bakteri Coliform yaitu tidak memenuhi standar baku. Untuk parameter fisik dengan hasil sudah memenuhi standar baku. Simpulan untuk parameter mikrobiologi Sumber Mata Air di Desa Asak, Karangasem yaitu tidak memenuhi syarat dan parameter fisik memenuhi syarat sesuai Permenkes No.492 tahun/IV/2010 tentang Persyaratan Kualitas Air Minum.
