Abstract
AN OVERVIEW OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SANITARY HYGIENE FOOD PROCESSORS AT ABIANSEMAL RESTAURANT ABSTRACT A restaurant is any commercial enterprise whose primary purpose is to serve food and beverages to the general public. Food hygiene is a disease prevention strategy that focuses on cleanliness or health measures as well as the food's integrity. Sanitation is the process of creating or maintaining conditions that prevent food contamination or the spread of food-borne illnesses. Knowledge is a wide variety of things obtained by a person through the five senses. The purpose of this observation is to provide a picture of food processing workers' sanitary hygiene knowledge in abiansemal restaurant. The type of data acquired is the observation subject's identity via an interview method using an identity form, the food handler's sanitary hygiene knowledge via an interview method using questionnaires, and the restaurant overview by records connected to the required data and direct observation. Based on the observations, it was shown that food processors had the best sanitation hygiene knowledge, with 67% in the good category, 27% in the sufficient category, and 7% in the less category.
