Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP OF HEMODIALIZATION THERAPY COMPLIANCE WITH QUALITY OF LIFE OF CHRONIC KIDNEY FAILURE PATIENTS IN THE HEMODIALIZATION ROOM OF SANJIWANI GIANYAR HOSPITAL YEAR 2022 ABSTRACT Chronic Kidney Failure (CKD) is damage to the kidneys that continues and cannot be repaired, this is caused by conditions that will cause multisystem disorders. Hemodialysis is the transfer of the patient's blood from the body through a dialyser that occurs by diffusion and ultrafiltration, then returns to the patient's body. Compliance with therapy in patients with chronic kidney failure is important to note, because if the patient does not comply, there will be a buildup of harmful substances from the body as a result of metabolism in the blood. The quality of life of patients undergoing hemodialysis is decreasing because patients not only face health problems associated with chronic kidney failure but are also associated with lifelong therapy. This thesis aims to identify the compliance of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy, identify the quality of life of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy and determine the relationship between adherence to hemodialysis therapy and the quality of life of chronic kidney failure patients in the Hemodialysis Room of Sanjiwani Hospital, Gianyar Regency. This study used a cross-sectional research design, the type of research that emphasized the compliance of the data on the independent variable (adherence to hemodialysis) and the dependent variable (quality of life of patients with chronic kidney failure). The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between adherence to hemodialysis therapy and the quality of life of patients with chronic kidney failure. Most patients with chronic renal failure are obedient in undergoing hemodialysis therapy and have good quality of life. Keyword : compliance, quality of life, chronic kidney failure HUBUNGAN KEPATUHAN TERAPI HEMODIALISA DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN GAGAL GINJAL KRONIK DI RUANG HEMODIALISA RSUD SANJIWANI GIANYAR TAHUN 2022 ABSTRAK Gagal Ginjal Kronik (GGK) adalah kerusakan pada ginjal yang terus berlangsung dan tidak dapat diperbaiki, hal ini disebabkan oleh kondisi yang akan menimbulkan gangguan multisistem. Hemodialisa merupakan pengalihan darah pasien berasal dari tubuh melalui dialiser yang terjadi secara difusi serta ultrafiltrasi, lalu kembali lagi ke tubuh pasien. Kepatuhan terapi pada penderita gagal ginjal kronik merupakan hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan, karena jika pasien tidak patuh akan terjadi penumpukan zat-zat berbahaya dari tubuh hasil metabolism dalam darah. Kualitas hidup pasien yang menjalani hemodialisa semakin menurun karena pasien tidak hanya menghadapi masalah kesehatan yang terkait dengan gagal ginjal kronik tetapi juga terkait dengan terapi yang berlangsung seumur hidup. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kepatuhan pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani terapi hemodialisa, mengidentifkasi kualitas kualitas hidup pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani terapi hemodialisa dan mengetahui hubungan antara kepatuhan menjalani terapi hemodialisa dengan kualitas hidup pasien gagal ginjal kronik di Ruang Hemodialisa RSUD Sanjiwani Kabupaten Gianyar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional, jenis penelitian yang menekankan kepatuhan data variable independen (kepatuhan menjalani hemodialisa) dan variabel dependen (kualitas hidup pasien gagal ginjal kronik). Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kepatuhan terapi hemodialisa dengan kualitas hidup pasien gagal ginjal kronik. Sebagian besar pasien gagal ginjal kronik patuh dalam menjalani terapi hemodialisa dan kualitas hidup baik. Kata kunci : kepatuhan, kualitas hidup, gagal ginjal kronik
