Abstract
KNOWLEDGE OF ANEMIA AND BLOOD-ADDED TABLETS WITH THE COMMITMENT OF YOUNG WOMEN TO CONSUME BLOOD-ADDED TABLETS AT BALI DEWATA HEALTH VOCATIONAL SCHOOL DENPASAR. ABSTRACT Anemia is a decrease in hemoglobin levels for body tissues. Characterized by a decrease in HB levels < 12 g/dL. Lack of knowledge related to anemia and blood-added tablets as well as the commitment of young women in consuming blood-added tablets can be a risk factor for anemia. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge of anemia and blood-added tablets with the commitment of young women to consume blood-added tablets at the Bali Dewata Health Vocational School, Denpasar. This type of research is observational with a cross sectional design. The sample size in this study was 49 female students at the Bali Dewata Health Vocational School, Denpasar. Data were collected by filling out a Knowledge Questionnaire about anemia and blood-supplementing tablets and a commitment questionnaire for young women to consume blood-added tablets. he results showed that the average level of knowledge of the sample was 81.4% in the good category and the average level of commitment to consuming blood-added tablets was 78.4% in the sufficient category. The results of statistical analysis using Spearman rank correlation test showed that there was a relationship between knowledge about blood-added tablets and anemia with commitment to consume blood-added tablets 0.043 (p <0.05). It is recommended that young women be obedient in consuming blood-added tablets and increase their knowledge regarding the rules for consuming blood-added tablets.
