Abstract
RELATIONSHIP OF HEMODIALISTS AND NUTRITION STATUS WITH QUALITY OF LIFE PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE UNDERGOING HEMODIALYSIS IN SANGLAH HOSPITAL ABSTRACT Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a severe chronic kidney function decline and is progressive and can not be recovered. Treatment of CKD sufferers one of them is with hemodialisisi therapy. Hemodialysis patients are susceptible to malnutrition. If hemodialysis is inadequate and the patient is malnourished it will accelerate the progression of the disease and decrease the patient's quality of life. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between adequation hemodialysis and nutritional status with the quality of life of patients who CKD with hemodialysis at Sanglah Hospital. Type of observational research with cross sectional design. The sample of the study was 43 people who were determined on a consecutive basis. The data collected were sample characteristics, hemodialysis frequency, hemodialysis adequacy, nutritional status and quality of life obtained through interview and medical record data. Based on the criteria of hemodialysis adequation, the result of 35 samples (81,4%) is in adequate category, 33 samples (77%) of nutritional status are in good category and 37 samples (86%) of the quality of life are in good category. From the Spearman test, the result shows that there is correlation between variable of hemodialysis adequation with sample life quality (p value = 0,000) with r = 0,67 and there is correlation between nutritional status with sample life quality (value = p = 0,006) with r = 0 , 41. The conclusion of this research is there is relationship between adequation of hemodialysis and nutritional status with quality of life of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at Sanglah Hospital. The better adequation of hemodialysis and nutritional status of patients hence better also with quality of life of CKD patients.
