Abstract

ABSTRACT HPV vaccination is a primary prevention effort to protect women from cervical cancer. This vaccine will stimulate the body's defense system to produce antibodies against HPV virus. The maximum results of this vaccine will be obtained in women who have no sexual intercourse so it is better given to adolescents because young girls tend to have no sexual active. The purpose of this research is to know the relation between knowledge and attitude of young woman abomm,ut Human Papilloma Virus vaccination program (HPV) in elementary school. This research was a correlative analytic with cross sectional approach with 88 samples. The sampling technique used Random Sampling technique. Bivariate analysis using Spearman’s Rho test. The results showed that the knowledge of female teenagers on HPV vaccination program at most 40 (45,4%) of respondents in good state. Young women attitudes about HPV vaccination program more respondents (61.36%) were in the attitude interval that included in very strong category and the remainder (38.64%) are at strong interval stances. Spearman’s Rho test results, there was a relationship between knowledge with the attitude of young women about Human Papilloma Virus vaccination program (HPV) in Elementary School p = 0,017 (p <0,05). Health workers give more intensive counseling about reproduction health to adolescents. Keywords: Knowledge, Attitude, Adolescent, HPV Vaccination Program ABSTRAK Vaksinasi HPV merupakan upaya pencegahan primer untuk melindungi wanita dari kanker serviks. Vaksin ini akan merangsang sistem pertahanan tubuh untuk menghasilkan antibodi terhadap virus HPV. Hasil maksimal dari vaksin ini akan diperoleh pada wanita yang belum melakukan hubungan seksual sehingga lebih baik diberikan pada remaja karena remaja putri muda cenderung belum melakukan hubungan seksual secara aktif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap remaja putri tentang program vaksinasi Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik korelatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 88 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik Random Sampling. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Spearman’s rho. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan remaja putri tentang program vaksinasi HPV sebagian besar responden (45,4%) memiliki tingkat pengetahuan baik. Sikap remaja putri tentang program vaksinasi HPV sebagaian besar responden (61,36%) berada pada interval sikap yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat kuat. Hasil uji Spearman’s Rho, ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap remaja putri tentang program vaksinasi Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) di Sekolah Dasar p= 0,017 (p<0,05). Petugas kesehatan dihrapkan lebih intensif memberikan penyuluhan tentang kesehatan reproduksi kepada remaja. Kata Kunci : Pengetahuan, Sikap, Remaja Putri, Program Vaksinasi HPV
