Abstract

The maternal and neonatal mortality rate are the issue around the world. Midwives are holders of the Maternal and Child Health program and midwives have an important role in suppressing maternal and neonatal mortality. Comprehensive pregnancy midwifery care is essential for preparing for the labor process, postpartum and the baby development. Comprehensive midwifery care aims to implement maternal care in Mrs. "W" 23 years old primigravida from 32 weeks 5 days of pregnancy until 42 days of postpartum period. The method is used case study that starts from February to May 2021. The mother condition since 32 weeks 5 days of pregnancy until labor process was normal. The delivery process was done normally at Puskesmas Marga I. The mother are given complementary care in the form of lavender essential oil. The male baby was born on 30 March, 2021 with the vigorous baby condition. The postpartum period was physiological. Neonatal growth and development takes was physiologically until the age 42 days. The midwifery care that given from 32 weeks 5 days of pregnancy until 42 days of postpartum period was physiological. Midwives are expected to provide care according to standards and authority and improve early detection of complications so as to prevent problems and complications during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and neonates.
