Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) are indicators that describe the level of community welfare. Midwives are one of the health workers who play an important role in reducing MMR and IMR through comprehensive and sustainable midwifery care. This final report aims to determine the results of care given to Mrs.“DS” from 32 weeks 1 day of gestation to 42 days of puerperium which is carried out comprehensively and sustainable. The research method used is a case report with data collection techniques through interviews, examination, observation and documentation. The results of the care provided to the mother during the pregnancy process progresses pathologically due to mild anemia that does not fit with midwifery standards but has been carried out. Labor process takes place spontaneously. During the puerperium, there were no signs of danger to the mother. The process of involution, expulsion of the lochea and lactation process until 42 days of puerperium was normal. The development of the baby from newborn until 42 days was physiologic. Midwives were expected to provide midwifery care according to the standard and authority so that they can prevent problems and complications during pregnancy, labor, puerperium, and baby.
