Abstract
Maternal mortality rate (MMR) and infant mortality rate (IMR) are indicators of health, particularly for women. Midwives, in particular, are the frontline workers who should be able to reduce MMR and IMR. Midwifery students play an important role in providing comprehensive and sustainable midwifery care for pregnant women, childbirth, postpartum, and babies. Mother "SP" is a pregnant woman who provides extra midwifery care. The purpose of this case study is to provide midwifery care to primigravida "SP" mothers aged 20 years from 34 weeks of gestation 4 days to 42 days of the puerperium. Maternal pregnancy development "SP" does not occur physiologically because the fetal head is still floating and has not entered PAP at 36 weeks gestation. Childbirth care was provided in the first stage, but due to complications, specifically CPD, the mother was forced to deliver a sectio caesarean section on March 18, 2021. The baby was born with active muscle tone, reddish skin, and a birth weight of 3400 grams. The process of uterine involution and lochia discharge is normal during the puerperium. These findings are expected to provide lessons and experiences for health professionals, particularly midwives, to ensure that they always provide care in accordance with care standards and midwifery service standards.
