Abstract

Nutritional status is influenced by several factors such as consumption patterns and physical activities such as dancing. This study aims to determine the pattern of eating and dancing activities. This was an observational study with cross sectional design. This research was conducted in the Lokananta Dance Club Singapadu Sukawati Gianyar with 62 samples. Data weight and height are collected by weighing the body and measuring the height. After the data obtained then calculated the value of z-score and categorized thin, normal, and fat. Data on consumption patterns were collected using 2x24 hour recall method. After the different data types of consumption collected, then counted and categorized into less, enough, and more. The raw weight of foodstuffs that have been averaged daily is then calculated nutrients using nutrisurvey, then the nutritional intake results are compared with the needs and categorized to be less, good, and more. Dance activities are collected by interviews assisted by a questionnaire and then calculated the frequency of dancing and dancing duration, then categorized into less, enough, and more categories. The results showed that most of the samples had normal nutritional status of 71.0%, most of them (93.6%) had different consumption, 54,8% children had good energy consumption, 50% less, fat consumption with good category and more each of 31,7%, there are children have carbohydrate consumption with less category and good each of 50%. There is a child of 83.8% performing dancing activities with appropriate dancing frequency and 61.3% perform dancing activities with less duration. It is expected that the sample reduces the consumption of excess fat and increases energy intake, protein, and carbohydrates.
