Abstract

Fracture is a discontinuity of bone structure caused by trauma or pathological state. Fractures are disconnected continuity of bone tissue and or cartilage that are generally caused by rudapaksa or external pressure that comes greater than can be absorbed by the bone. The most injured parts of the body were the lower extremities (67%). Permanent physical disability as a result of fracture in 2018 was 9.2%. The management of fractures is one of them is with Open Reduction Internal Fixation (ORIF). Open Reduction Internal Fixation (ORIF) is a type of operation with internal fixation installation performed when the fracture cannot be reduced sufficiently by close reduction, to maintain the correct position on the fracture fragment. The purpose of orif action is to restore bone movement function and stabilization so that patients who perform spinal anaesthesia are expected to treat hypothermics early after surgery. This final scientific paper aims to find out the picture of hypothermia nursing care in Mrs. GA with close fracture of collum femur sinistra post ORIF in the recovery room ok Sanjiwani Hospital. The method used is descriptive with a case study approach, namely by conducting nursing care in patients post femur fracture surgery ranging from assessment, intervention, implementation, and evaluation of nursing. After 1 x 2 hours of nursing care in patients with close fractures collum femur sinistra post ORIF hypothermic problems resolved some interventions continued. The effect of infusion of warmer and thick blanket in patients close fracture collum femur sinistra post ORIF effective to lower the patient's body temperature. Patients are not expected to experience a drop in temperature and do not shiver after surgery. Keywords : Post ORIF Close Fracture Collum Femur, Hypothermia
