Abstract
Maternal and infant mortality is a problem that exists in various countries. The government has made various efforts to continuously suppress MMR and IMR. This final project report aims to determine the results of care given to mot “PD” mother from 36 weeks of 3 days of gestation, childbirth, postpartum period, and newborns who are given standard care. The research method used is a case report with data collection techniques through interviews, examination, observation and documentation. Care is given from March to May 2021. Midwifery care for pregnancy is carried out by providing 12 times of care, namely twice in the first trimester, four times in the second trimester and six times in the third trimester.. Childbirth care is carried out from stage I to stage IV. First stage lasts 1 hour 40 minutes, second stage 20 minutes, third stage 5 minutes and monitoring stage IV is within normal limits. Newborns cry immediately, active muscle tone, reddish skin and birth weight of 3600 grams. The process of uterine involution, lochea removal and lactation during the postpartu is normal. It can be concluded that the development of pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and newborns of the “PD” mothers takes place in accordance with the standards of midwifery care. It is hoped that clients and families can apply the midwifery care that has been provided by the author so that they can increase knowledge and add experience.
