Abstract
Diabetes mellitus diabetic foot (DMDF) is a lower limb disorder due to uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, caused by blood vessel disorders, neurological disorders, and infection, with the consequence that worsening diabetic foot can cause gangrene, lead to amputation and event worse death. One of the wound care principles in DMDF is debridement. After the action is given, it will cause pain in DMDF patients. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to conduct and analyze acute pain nursing care for patients in postoperative debridement patients with diabetes mellitus diabetic foot. The research method used is a case studyNursing care was given to two patients diagnosed with DMDF with acute pain nursing problems in the Surgical Room of the Sanjiwani Hospital, Gianyar. The interventions provided were based on the Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standard (SIKI), namely acute pain management, with a focus on innovation interventions, namely pain monitoring and humor therapy as a distraction technique. The outcomes and expected outcome criteria based on the Indonesian Nursing Outcome Standard (SLKI) are decreased pain levels. The results obtained are nursing problems in both patients were partially resolved. It can be concluded that the provision of humor therapy can help reduce pain levels, but the time to reach the goal depends on other health factors that the patient has. It is hoped that humor therapy can be carried out in addition to the use of drugs
