Abstract

Headinjuryisabroadtermthatdescribesanumberofinjuriesthatoccurtothescalp,skull, brain, and underlying tissues and blood vessels in the head. Moderate head injury is a condition in which there is trauma to the brain and head areas that can cause increased intracranialpressure,causingtheriskofineffectivecerebralperfusion.Thepurposeof thisstudywastodeterminehowIneffectiveCerebralPerfusionRiskNursingCarein patientswith Moderate Head Injury in the Emergency Room of Sanglah Central General Hospital. The results of the study were found in the assessment of both managed patients, specificallyexperiencingdecreaseinconsciousness.TheformulateddiagnosiswasRisk for Ineffective Cerebral Perfusion. Nursing planning was prepared based on the reference ofIndonesian Nursing Outcome Standard, Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standard and the Innovation Intervention based on the EBP. The expected outcome after giving nursing interventionsfor1x4hoursiswithanimprovedCerebralPerfusionlabel.The interventions provided according toIndonesian Nursing Intervention Standard guidelines includethemaininterventionandthesupportingintervention.Themaininterventions providedwereManagementofIncreasedIntracranialPressureandMonitoringof IncreasedIntracranialPressure.Meanwhile,theinnovationinterventionbasedonEBP was by giving a 30-degree Head Up Position. Nursing implementation was given for 1 x 4 hoursaccordingtoapredeterminedplan.Fromtheinterventionfor1x4hours,the evaluationresultsshowedanincreaseindecreasedconsciousness.Theprovisionofan innovative30-degreeHeadUpPositioninterventioniseffectiveinincreasingawareness ofpatients experiencingtherisk ofineffective cerebralperfusion.
