Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF THE LEVEL KNOWLEDGE OF PREGNANT WOMEN ABOUT THE DANGER SIGNS OF PREGNANCY DURING PANDEMIC COVID-19 AT MENGWI II PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER IN 2021 By : Cintya Yunita Dewi ABSTRACT Danger signs of pregnancy are signs that indicate a danger that can occur during pregnancy, which if not reported or detected early can cause death to the mother and fetus. Danger signs of pregnancy must be treated and detected early because any danger signs of pregnancy can lead to complications during pregnancy. This study was conducted to describe the level of knowledge of pregnant women about the danger signs of pregnancy during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Mengwi II Health Center. This study uses a descriptive type of research with a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire entered through the google form. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. The number of samples is as many as 40 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the level of knowledge is good, the level of knowledge is sufficient and the level of knowledge is less where it is known that from 40 respondents most of them have a good level of knowledge about the danger signs of pregnancy during the covid-19 pandemic, 37 respondents (92.5%), who have the level of knowledge is sufficient for 3 respondents (7.5%) and there is no pregnant woman who has less knowledge. It is expected that pregnant women who have good knowledge in order to maintain and improve their knowledge and pregnant women who have sufficient and less knowledge to be more active in seeking information that can be obtained.
