Abstract
NURSING CARE OF ANXIETY TO PATIENT THAT EXPERIENCED PRE OPERATIVE ORIF AT THE CENTRAL SURGICAL INSTALLATION ROOM RSUD SANJIWANI GIANYAR ABSTRACT Fracture is a condition where the continuity of the bone is broken and is determined according to its type and extent. One of the treatments for fractures is surgery. Fracture surgery can cause a psychological response in the patient, namely anxiety or anxiety. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the anxiety nursing care of patients who underwent preoperative ORIF with an innovative intervention of giving rose aromatherapy in the Central Surgical Installation Room of the RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar in 2021. This study used a descriptive type of research with a case study approach on two subjects (patients). This study was held on May 3 - May 21, 2021 at the Central Surgical Installation Room of the RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar. The results of the study at the assessment stage were carried out through observation and documentation on both patients and subjective data were obtained, namely the patient said he felt confused, worried, had difficulty concentrating and the objective data obtained were the patient looked restless, the patient looked tense, the face looked pale, blood pressure increased, increased pulse rate, poor concentration. Based on the assessment data, the diagnosis that can be formulated in both subjects is anxiety related to situational crises. Nursing planning is based on the Indonesian Nursing Outcome Standard (SLKI) and the Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standard (SIKI). The nursing implementation used was eight interventions plus an innovative intervention for giving rose aromatherapy and pre-operative nursing action interventions in the Central Surgical Installation of Sanjiwani Hospital Gianyar. Nursing evaluation in the documentation is SOAP with the final evaluation, namely decreasing anxiety levels. Keywords: anxiety, preoperative, giving rose aromatherapy
