Abstract
NURSING CARE OF ANXIETY IN PREOPERATIVE ORIF PATIENT WITH CLOSE FRACTURE FEMUR AT PREPARATION ROOM CENTRAL SURGICAL INSTALLATION RSUD SANJIWANI GIANYAR ABSTRACT The incidence of fracture femur in Indonesia is the most common. Fracture femur can cause complications, prolonged morbidity and also disability if they do not get good treatment, therefore urgent action is needed, one of which is ORIF surgery. Surgery can cause anxiety in patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the nursing care of anxiety in preoperative ORIF patient with close fracture femur at Preparation Room Central Surgical Installation RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar. The results of the study on the two patients managed were 80.3% of major data and 21.4% of minor data were obtained in the anxiety sub-category. Nursing planning is prepared based on the reference of the Indonesian Nursing Outcome Standard (SLKI), the Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standard (SIKI) and the Innovation Intervention based on the EBP. The expected outcome after giving nursing intervention for 1 x 30 minutes is decreased anxiety level. The intervention given according to the SIKI guidelines includes the main intervention, namely anxiety reduction and relaxation therapy, while the innovation intervention based on EBP is by giving inhalation with lavender aromatherapy. The implementation of nursing is given for 1 x 30 minutes according to a predetermined plan, after giving an intervention for 1 x 30 minutes it shows the results of the evaluation, namely decreased anxiety. The administration of inhalation innovation intervention with lavender aromatherapy is effective in reducing anxiety in preoperative patients.
