Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PREMATURE RUPTURE OF MEMBRANES AND EARLY AWITAN NEONATAL SEPSIS IN THE PUBLIC HOSPITAL OF WANGAYA DENPASAR 2021 ABSTRACT Sepsis is the most frequent and important cause of morbidity and mortality during the neonatal period. The incidence of premature rupture of membranes (KPD) is still quite high, ± 10% of deliveries are preceded by KPD. This can increase pregnancy complications for both mother and baby, especially infections. To determine whether a history of KPD is a risk factor for neonatal sepsis. This type of research is observational analytic with a case control study design using consecutive sampling of 60 case samples and 60 control samples. Data collection began in January-April 2021. The data used were secondary data in the form of medical records at the Wangaya Hospital, Denpasar City 2020. Data were evaluated using the chi-square test using the SPSS 26.00 for Windows computer program. The results of the study were 120 samples consisting of 60 case samples and 60 control samples. Of the 60 samples of early onset neonatal sepsis, 75% of the samples had a history of PROM> 18 hours and 45% of the samples had no KPD or KPD ≤18 hours. Whereas in the control sample of 60 samples, 25% of the samples had a history of KPD > 18 hours and 55% of the samples were not KPD or KPD ≤18 hours. And the analysis results were obtained (p = 0.014; OR = 3.66). There is a relationship between premature rupture of membranes and the incidence of early onset neonatal sepsis at the Wangaya Hospital, Denpasar. Insiden KPD masih cukup tinggi, ±10% persalinan didahului oleh KPD. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan komplikasi kehamilan pada ibu maupun bayi, terutama infeksi. Untuk mengetahui apakah riwayat ketuban pecah dini merupakan faktor resiko terjadinya sepsis neonatorum. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan rancangan penelitian case control menggunakan consecutive sampling sebanyak 60 sampel kasus dan 60 sampel kontrol. Pengambilan data dimulai pada bulan april-mei 2021. Data yang digunakan yaitu data sekunder berupa rekam medik di RSUD Wangaya Kota Denpasar 2020. Data dievaluasi dengan uji chi-square menggunakan program komputer SPSS 26.00 for Windows. Hasil penelitian dari 120 sampel yang terdiri dari 60 sampel kasus dan 60 sampel kontrol. Dari 60 sampel sepsis neonatorum awitan dini terdapat 75% sampel yang terdapat riwayat KPD >18 jam dan 45% sampel yang tidak KPD atau KPD ≤18 jam. Sedangkan pada sampel kontrol dari 60 sampel terdapat 25% sampel yang terdapat riwayat KPD >18 jam dan 55% sampel tidak KPD atau KPD ≤18 jam. Dan hasil analisis didapatkan (p = 0,014; OR= 3,66). Terdapat hubungan antara ketuban pecah dini dengan kejadian sepsis neonatorum awitan dini di RSUD Wangaya Denpasar tahun 2020. Kata Kunci : Sepsis, Ketuban pecah dini, Neonatorum Awitan Dini
