Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF FLUID MANAGEMENT IN CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE PATIENTS UNDERWENT HEMODIALYSIS AT RSD MANGUSADA BADUNG IN 2021 ABSTRACT Chronic kidney disease is a progressive and irreversible impairment of renal function, the kidneys fail to maintain the metabolism and balance of fluids and electrolytes that cause uremia. Chronic kidney disease is defined as a disorder of the structure and function of the kidneys that lasts 3 to 4 months. The purpose of this study is to find out the picture of fluid management in chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis at Mangusada Badung Hospital in 2021. The type and design of research used in this research is descriptive research with quantitative approach by using data collection sheet as research instrument. The number of samples in this study was 52 people selected using purposive sampling method. The results showed all components of observation, therapeutic, and co�ordation in the study subjects who experienced chronic kidney disease as many as 52 respondents have received 100% perfect nursing action. From these results, it can be concluded that all research subjects have received nursing action. It is recommended that nurses can carry out a more comprehensive nursing action plan to achieve more optimal patient recovery, especially in chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis.
