Abstract
Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that attacks the lungs which is characterized by the formation of granulomas and causing tissue necrosis. The purpose of this final research paper is to analyze Ineffective Airway Clearing Nursing Care for Patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis in the Emergency Room of Sanglah Hospital.One form of therapy in overcoming the problem of airway clearance in Tuberculosis patients is Steam Inhalation with Aromatherapy Eucalyptus Oil. The method in this final scientific paper for nurses is providing nursing care to Mr. G and Mr. S for 1x4 hours with Effective Coughing Exercise Intervention, Chest Physiotherapy and Steam Inhalation with Aromatherapy Eucalyptus Oil. This scientific work was carried out in the ER isolation room at Sanglah Hospital who had problems with ineffective airway clearance in pulmonary TB patients. The results of the analysis on patients, namely the Steam Inhalation Innovation Intervention with Aromatherapy Eucalyptus Oil can help excrete secretions in pulmonary TB patients. Suggestions that can be given to the Sanglah Hospital,especially the head of the nursing field, are expected to be able to develop Standard Operating Procedures in providing Steam Inhalation non-pharmacological therapy using eucalyptus oil aromatherapy, so that this therapy can be used as an independent nurse action as well as a promotive action that can be taken. by the family independently at home.
