Abstract

Nursing Care for Unstable Blood Glucose Levels in Hyperglycemic Patients in the Emergency Room at Sanjiwani Hospital, Gianyar in 2021 ABSTRACT Hyperglycemia is an increase in blood glucose levels exceeding 126 mg / dL or blood glucose levels exceeding 200 mg / dL as evidenced by laboratory tests of blood sugar levels and the clinical picture of the patient. Hyperglycemia sufferers can cause damage to the function of organs such as eyes, nerves, kidneys and other complications if not immediately. The purpose of this KIAN is to apply the analysis as a nursing care for instability of blood glucose levels in patients with hyperglycemia in the emergency room at RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar in 2021. In the data assessment stage, the patient had 1 complaint, dry lip mucosa, fever and cough, blood sugar levels 519mg / dL. Patient II complained of weakness, nausea and vomiting since 2 days before MRS, dry lip mucosa, feeling thirsty and hungry, blood glucose level 527mg / dL. Based on the studies carried out, the main reinforcing diagnoses raised in the second cases managed were instability of blood glucose levels. One of the interventions given to overcome the problem of blood glucose level stability is collaborative therapy, offering insulin through intravenous means. The results of the evaluation show that insulin therapy is an effective way to treat the problem of instability in blood glucose levels in patients with hyperglycemia. Nursing care of instability of blood glucose levels in patients with hyperglycemia needs to be considered by nurses to prevent more serious complications. Keywords : Hyperglycemia, instability of blood glucose levels, insulin therapy ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN KETIDAKSTABILAN KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH PADA PASIEN DENGAN HIPERGLIKEMIA DI RUANG IGD RSUD SANJIWANI GIANYAR TAHUN 2021 ABSTRAK Hiperglikemia merupakan keadaan peningkatan kadar glukosa darah puasa melebihi 126 mg/dL atau kadar glukosa darah sewaktu melebihi 200 mg/dL yang dibuktikan melalui pemeriksaan laboratorium kadar glukosa darah dan gambaran klinis pasien. Penderita hiperglikemia dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada fungsi organ tubuh seperti mata, syaraf, ginjal dan komplikasi lain jika tidak ditangani dengan segera. Tujuan dari penulisan KIAN ini untuk menerapkan analisis asuhan keperawatan ketidakstabilan kadar glukosa darah pada pasien dengan Hiperglikemia di Ruang IGD RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar Tahun 2021. Tahap pengkajian data didapatkan pasien 1 mengeluh lemas, mukosa bibir kering, demam dan batuk, kadar glukosa dalam darah 519mg/dL. Pasien II mengeluh lemas, mual muntah sejak 2 hari sebelum MRS, mukosa bibir kering, merasa haus dan lapar, kadar glukosa dalam darah 527mg/dL. Berdasarkan hasil pengkajian yang dilakukan, diagnosa keperawatan utama yang diangkat dalam kasus kedua pasien kelolaan adalah ketidakstabilan kadar glukosa darah. Salah satu intervensi yang diberikan untuk mengatasi masalah ketidakstabilan kadar glukosa darah yaitu dengan terapi kolaborasi pemberian insulin melalui intravena. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan pemberian terapi insulin efektif digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah ketidakstabilan kadar glukosa darah pada pasien dengan hiperglikemia. Asuhan keperawatan ketidakstabilan kadar glukosa darah pada pasien dengan Hiperglikemia perlu diperhatikan oleh perawat untuk mencegah terjadinya komplikasi yang lebih berat.
