Abstract
PRETERM LABOR OVERVIEW IN SANGLAH DENPASAR PUBLIC HOSPITAL IN 2020 ABSTRACT Preterm delivery occurs at 20 weeks gestation to less than 37 weeks and is the cause of perinatal death in about 65% - 75%. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of preterm labor that occurred at Sanglah General Hospital Denpasar in 2020. The research design used was a descriptive observational method with a cross sectional approach. Samples were taken by total sampling technique, which is equal to 223 respondents. The research sample was preterm delivery at Sanglah General Hospital Denpasar in 2020. The data obtained were secondary data from the patient's medical records. Data analysis was performed using univariate analysis to find the distribution of frequencies and percentages. The results showed 56.1% of preterm deliveries occurred in multiparous, 53.8% occurred in non-working mothers, 72.2% occurred at ages 20 to <35 years. Based on the educational level 74.9% of preterm deliveries occurred at the secondary education level, 90.1% occurred in married mothers. Based on pregnancy complications, 30.5% were due to preeclampsia, 23.3% PROM, 1.3% due to anemia, 0.9% due to hydramion, 6.3% due to APB, 3.6% due to chronic disease, 9.0% due to multiple pregnancies and 25.1% due to idiopathic / unknown factors. So it can be concluded that preterm delivery at Sanglah General Hospital in Denpasar in 2020 is dominated by multiparity, among mothers who do not work, aged 20 - <35 years, secondary education level with married status and pregnancy complications with preeclampsia.
