Abstract
Based on a survey conducted by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2013, it shows that the prevalence of the Indonesian population suffering from dental caries is 80%. Oral health problems in Bali reached 39.3%. The purpose of this study was to determine knowledge about caries in pregnant women in Badung Regency in 2021. This research was carried out in the KKN IPE Group 18 Badung II assisted families in 2021. The data used were primary data, namely from a questionnaire about dental caries in pregnant women. ten questions with four options using google form. The results of research on pregnant women in Badung Regency in 2021, amounting to 43 respondents. The percentage of knowledge about caries, namely, very good category amounted to 18 people (41.86%), good category amounted to 9 people (20.93%), enough category amounted to 11 people (25.58%), less category amounted to 3 people (6 , 97%), the failed category amounted to 2 people (4.65%). The mode of knowledge about caries is a score of 60 as many as 11 people. The average knowledge about caries is 71.39 with good category. The conclusion from the discussion is that knowledge about caries in pregnant women is mostly in the very good category, the mode of knowledge about caries is 60 (sufficient caries), and the average knowledge about caries is 71.39 (good category).
