Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF COMMUNITY BEHAVIOR REGARDING 3M PLUS TO PREVENT DENGUE HEMORAGIC FEVER IN BANJAR PISANG KAJA TEGALLALANG DISTRICT IN 2021 ABSTRACT The incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever every year is still a problem in society with the high number of cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever in Indonesia, namely until July 2020 reaching 71,633. It appears that the community does not pay attention to and protect the surrounding environment so that it becomes a breeding ground for the mosquito Aedes Aegypti as the cause of dengue hemorrhagic fever. Efforts that can be made to eradicate mosquito nests are the 3M Plus movement. The research objective was to describe the community's behavior regarding 3M Plus to prevent dengue fever in Banjar Pisang Kaja, Tegallalang District in 2021. This study used a descriptive type of research with aresearch design cross sectional. Data were collected using a questionnaire in the form of a google form. The number of samples used was 53 respondents who were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using a program computer. The results showed that 21 research subjects (39.6%) had good knowledge, 37 research subjects (69.8%) and 49 research subjects (92.5%) had less skills. The conclusion is that family heads who still have insufficient attitudes and skills in implementing 3M Plus, it is advisable to Puskesmas Tegallalang II to conduct 3M Plus counseling and disciplined monitoring of its application so that health-conscious community behavior can be formed by doing 3M Plus.
