Abstract
Oral health problems are one of the health problems that have a very wide impact, such as bad breath, gingivitis, sensitive teeth, mouth sores, inflammation of the inside of the heart and the most common is cavities (dental caries). Caries or cavities in the teeth is an endemic disease in Indonesia. Dental caries can occur in all levels of society, especially for pregnant women. The level of knowledge of pregnant women was measured using a questionnaire. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage level of knowledge, a description of the knowledge of pregnant women, and the level of utilization of dental and oral health services for pregnant women in Abiansemal and Petang Districts, Badung Regency in 2021. This type of research is descriptive using primary data and secondary data with 30 respondents. person. The results showed that the level of knowledge of pregnant women who had a good category was 40% with a moderate category, namely 53.33% and a poor category, namely 6.67%. The average level of knowledge of pregnant women on caries is 73.67% with a sufficient category. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the category of knowledge of pregnant women in Abiansemal and Petang Districts is still in the sufficient and insufficient category.
