Abstract
Knowledge is the result of knowing and this occurs after someone senses a certain object. Brushing teeth is an act of cleaning the teeth and mouth from food debris or debris which aims to prevent disease in both hard and soft tissues. The head of the family is a person who has a responsible role for a family (usually the father). This study aims to determine the description of knowledge about brushing teeth on the head of the family in South Denpasar District in 2021. This research is a descriptive research, with 40 respondents. The data used in this research are primary data using a questionnaire about brushing teeth as many as ten short description questions using google form. The results showed that the description of knowledge about brushing teeth on the head of the family was in very good category as many as ten people (25%), good category as many as 13 people (32.5%), enough category as many as ten people (25%), poor category as many as six people (15%), and one person failed category (2.5%). The average level of knowledge about brushing teeth in the head of the family in South Denpasar District in 2021 is 66.5. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the respondents have the most knowledge in the good category and the average is sufficient.
