Abstract
Knowledge is what is known by people or respondents, related to health and illness or health, for example about disease (causes, modes of transmission, methods of prevention), nutrition, sanitation, health services, environmental health, family planning, and so on. Oral health is a part of overall health, where oral health is the most important investment for everyone. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the level of knowledge about how to brush teeth on the head of the family in the IPE KKN area, Jembrana Regency 1. This type of research is descriptive research. The types of data collected in this study are primary and secondary data, with a total of 29 respondents. The frequency of the level of knowledge about how to brush teeth on the head of the family in the IPE KKN Jembrana 1 year 2021 was 44.8% with good category, 48.2% sufficient category and 6.89% less category. The average level of knowledge about how to brush teeth on the head of the family in the IPE KKN Jembrana 1 year 2021 is 78.27 with good category. The conclusion from the results of this study is the knowledge of the head of the family about brushing their teeth in the IPE KKN Jembrana 1 Year 2021 is in the good category.
