Abstract
Knowledge is the result of human sensing, or the result of knowing a person against an object through his or her senses. Pregnancy can affect the health of the teeth and mouth, the presence of nausea and vomiting in the morning in pregnant women is caused by increased levels of the hormones estrogen and progesterone. The purpose of this study is to find out an overview of pregnant women's knowledge about the maintenance of dental and oral health in toddlers in Karangasem II Karangasem Regency in 2021. This research uses descriptive research with survey design conducted at the location of KKN IPE Poltekkes Denpasar in Karangasem II Karangasem Regency in 2021. The results showed that the percentage of good category knowledge level as much as 68.63%, knowledge category enough as much as 13.73%, and category less as much as 17.64%. The average level of knowledge of pregnant women about the maintenance of dental and oral health in toddlers as much as 82.65 with a good category. The conclusion of this study is that pregnant women in Karangasem Regency in 2021 have a level of knowledge of dental and oral health maintenance in toddlers with a good category of 68.63% with an average of 82.65.
