Abstract

Anemia adalah suatu keadaan kadar hemoglobin (Hb) dalam darah kurang dari normal. Anemia dapat menyebabkan darah tidak cukup mengikat dan mengangkut oksigen dari paru- paru ke seluruh tubuh. Sampai saat ini informasi spesifik tentang besaran angka anemia pada siswa sekolah masih sangat terbatas. Program penanggulangan anemia lebih banyak pada ibu hamil dan ibu melahirkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar hemoglobin pada siswa SMP Negeri 2 Kediri Kabupaten Tabanan. Sampel penelitian adalah 37 orang siswa SMP yang dipilih secara random sampling. Pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin dilakukan menggunakan metode flowcytometry. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Karakteristik responden berdasarkan umur paling banyak pada umur 13 tahun yaitu 64,87%. Berdasarkan jenis kelamin yang paling banyak adalah laki-laki 51,30%. Siswa dengan kadar hemoglobin normal sebanyak 97,30% dan kadar hemoglobin di bawah normal sebanyak 2,70% responden. Kadar hemoglobin di bawah normal ditemukan pada responden dengan umur 13 tahun sebanyak 2,70%. Berdasarkan jenis kelamin laki-laki sebanyak 2,70% memiliki kadar hemoglobin di bawah normal. Berdasarkan pola makan didapatkan kadar hemoglobin di bawah normal pada pola makan tidak lengkap sebanyak 2,70%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kadar hemoglobin pada siswa SMPN 2 Kediri dikategori normal. Anemia makes the blood lose the ability to bind and distribute the oxygen from the lungs throughout the body. Generally, the specific information about the number of anemic for the among student is limited. Anemia prevention programs are only focused for the pregnant women and mothers after giving birth. The purpose of this research is to find out about the hemoglobin level for students at Junior High School 2 Kediri Tabanan. There were 37 students in junior high school were chosen by the random sampling as the sample in this research. The determination of hemoglobin level was done by using flowcytometry method. Based on the respondent characteristic of age, the results showed that 64.86 % of respondent are at the age of 13 years old. Based on the respondent characteristic of sex, it is known that 51.3% respondents are male and there were 94.6% of respondent due to the complete of food daily activity. Based on the result of determination of hemoglobin level, there were 97.30% respondent has the normal level of hemoglobin and the rest of the respondent has a medium level of hemoglobin. Based on the respondent characteristic, it was found that the medium level of hemoglobin in this study was found at the 13 yeras old male student. Based on the food daily activity there where 97.30 % respondent has the normal level of hemoglobin. From these results, It can be concluded that hemoglobin level in students of SMPN 2 Kediri is in normal category. Keywords: anemia, hemoglobin, flowcytometry
