Abstract

Abstract. The documentation of midwifery care is a form of midwifes responsibility on giving care which sentenced in Health Ministry Decision Number 938/Menkes/SK/VIII/2007 about standard of midwifery care. This study to purpose find out the relation between knowledge level of midwife to the documentation practice of midwifery care on second and third stage of labor by SOAP method at Labor department of Badung Regency Hospital. This study is categorized as analytical observational by using cross sectional approach. The subject determination is done by non probability sampling technique namely total sampling where overall midwife who worked at Labor department of Badung Regency Hospital by number of 20 persons fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria is include as subject. The data that has been collected are primary gathered from result of questionnaire are observation. The analyze was tested using Fisher Exact Test where the result of p = 0,038 on α < 0,05. The result shows that statically there are significant relation between the knowledge level of midwife to the documentation practice of midwifery care on second and third stage of labor by using SOAP method.
